Raison d'ĂȘtre

Dictated by fate and molded by society
We learn to hate that which we cannot be

With a chained heart,
And a tortured soul
Both so far apart,
And we're just a stagnant shoal

Striving to comprehend the Maker's art,
yet unable to be whole
All following a set road from the start,
freedom left out in the cold

So many secrets untold,
So many hearts in fear's hold
Countless souls with clipped wings,
All too afraid to get rid of the strings

All that the Devil covets
Just more ignorant puppets

Paradox

Fragments of an existence
Disgust at its own insignificance
At being part of a pestilence

Yet, why it does not wonder
The reason it puts itself at the center
Honouring itself as the alpha and the omega

But when its choices go askew
Blame falls on either a deity or destiny
And sometimes the Trickster too

Laughable and pathetic
Believing it's a maverick
When the proper term is hypocrite.

Succubus

Once an innocent and fair maiden among us
A loving friendly lady with finesse

But a plethora of sins you amassed
And a repugnant throne of them you built

Now trying to rid yourself of the guilt
But you're just another malignant lymphoblast

In vain straining to fill the void in your soul
But it's lost. To the devil, already sold

Distraught you should rightly be,
For you know not what it is to be free

Forgotten is the innocent and fair maiden among us
Now only just another pus-filled hideous succubus

And so ends your story, farewell
Judgement awaits you in your rightful home: Hell

Thanks to 3Z for the ace he is.

Judgement Day

Broken was Heaven's ivory gate
And through came the angels

Harbouring but a sliver of hate
For here only Man was allowed to dwell

Now came forth Lucifer's army
From every known theology

For the balance could not be upset
And so was added another threat

By spike and spear
They raged on, rekindling fear

Breaking through the permafrost
Reaching man's glaciated nethermost

So you have been forewarned,
To tread lightly on this sarn

For it is the Dark Ages
And here, there be monsters
